ARDGOWAN HOSPICE Moving forward Programme

Attendees will meet others in a similar situation, and together explore how you can make the most of your condition by improving your wellbeing.

Over the 10 weeks we will look at different ways to get active, understand how to manage physical symptoms, how to manage your emotional wellbeing and help you with practical support around finance.

Every member of the programme will get time with one of our facilitators to make sure we explore the key areas that are causing concern or difficulty in your everyday life. Our aim is that by the end of the programme, you will be able to manage things better for yourself. But, don’t worry, if there are areas of life that still trouble you, we’ll make sure you are able to access further support either from our team or another agency.

The programme is open to anyone:

  • who has a diagnosis of a life-limiting illness
  • lives in Inverclyde
  • is over 18
  • can travel to the venue independently

If you want to find out more or want to apply to join a programme near where you live, just give us a call on 01475 726830 and ask to speak to Lynsey Young, or email lynsey.young@ardhosp.co.uk.

Referrals can also be made by GPs, Specialist Nurses, or other Health Care Professionals by completing the following form and contacting ggc.ardhosp@nhs.scot.
